the bunker-- a fantastic little british film with two actors whose careers i intend to keep track of... jason flemyng (yum) and eddie marsan. at least, i think it's eddie marsan. i can't find a picture of him on the web to make sure. he's the one who hears the voices in the drain... anyway, i think these two fellows are brilliant. the script was tight and economical. very well done.
deathwatch
storm of the century--i really like this little made-for-tv gem. excellent in the story & suspense department.
shirley valentine--great!
madhouse--pretty to look at, but a waste of time
exorcist, the beginning (not bad in the beginning. some genuinely good scares & interesting shots. but the story just sort of rambled along in a very uninteresting way, then it totally fell apart...and that's okay as i wasn't expecting anything good to begin with.)
watching today: i heart huckabees, the "i" inside, and the stephen king series "kingdom hospital"
listening to:
2 songs over and over... "amber waves" by tori amos & "away" by kathleen edwards (off her new cd "back to me")
crocheting: a huge yellow, orange, red, blue variegated afghan. despite how it sounds, it's lovely.
